SERENITY NOW is a monthly comedy show that features performers who are in recovery from substance abuse and other forms of addiction.


Now in its second year, SERENITY NOW has showcased more than sixty sober comedians, with headlining acts from all across the country. The monthly show continues in 2020 in its new 8 p.m. time slot. Upcoming shows: January 4, February 15*, March 7, April 4, and May 2.

Whether you are sober or just want a break from boozy entertainment environments, SERENITY NOW is an opportunity to see some of the country's best sober performers in a substance-free theater.

The Crowd Theater is located at 3935 North Broadway in Chicago, Illinois. Tickets are $10 at the door; doors open around 7:45. Want to reserve tickets? Email us with your number of guests and we'll save you a seat, then just pay at the door.

*The February 15 show will be an open mic for performers who are in recovery. This special show will begin at 10 p.m. $5 cover for audience members and free for performers.
